About LLDPE:
LLPDE is stiff, strong and has high tensile strength and high impact and puncture resistance. LLPDE can be used to make thin films with good environmental stress cracking resistance. The more commonly used LDPE (most commonly used in construction and agriculture) is not nearly as strong or puncture resistant as LLPDE. LLDPE is resistant to organic solvents and is a better moisture and vapor barrier than LDPE. Recycling code 4 typically identifies LLPDE.
